Todd and Max Roach, and many of their musical entourage have taken up residency @ din for december and january, to begin work on their debut record... all sorts of wacky instrumentation involved in this 'classic orchestral pop' record, from tubas to triangles, via plenty of 4part vocal harmonies... you wait till you hear the orchestral space rock waltz!...

a girl called eddy continues recording her second record @ din... James "Spaddy" Adams (Spiritualized, Divine Comedy) popped down to din, along with Simon Little (Divine Comedy) to add trombone and bass respectively...

2007- we've counted something like 7 records that we've recorded that are coming out next year!... indluding brinkman, a girl called eddy, emma mcglynn and the monorails, the highwire, economy wolf, the heart strings, and anthony reynolds... so bring on 2007!...

brinkman www.myspace.combrinkmanband record their debut album @ rak... julian has been @ rak and mayfair studios recording brinkman's debut... so far paul, tom and neil have been working with julian for a month, and have nearly finished recording... the record is scheduled for next year, and EMI have pulled out the old HMV imprint for brinkman, last used for morrisey... their debut single 'kirsten dunst' has already been playlisted on XFM.

meanwhile, @ din ben till's buskers symphony is nearing completion... joe monorail jardine has been working on the channel 4 films while julian's been away, and julian's been down to help between time spent on the brinkman recording...
